We all want to live in a thriving community, but too many in Indiana are struggling.
Skyrocketing housing prices force many who work in our communities to live far away and others to sleep in shelters or on the streets.
The high cost of basic needs like childcare and electricity forces many to choose which bills to pay.
Meanwhile Hoosiers breathe the most polluted air and drink the dirtiest water in the nation.
And deep currents of racism divide our community and make many feel unwelcome and unsafe.
Yet there is hope for a brighter day. When we come together across our differences, we can work with decision-makers to implement solutions to our problems.
We Make Indiana works to bring people from the sidelines into action. We develop leaders in our communities who can organize our people, our money, and our votes to create the change we want to see.
Join us to make Indiana a state where everyone thrives!
We Make Indiana is a non-partisan organization that unites faith communities and people of conscience to make Indiana more safe, healthy, and whole.
We are a multi-racial, multi-faith movement that works with public officials to change policy to ensure every Hoosier can thrive.
Building on the strong work of the St. Joe County chapter of Faith in Indiana, in 2024 organizers and leaders decided to launch a regionally rooted organizing project, We Make Indiana.
