Congregations and organizations, not individuals, are members of We Make Indiana. A faith institution or a values-aligned organization becomes a member by making a membership contribution and building a team to engage its members and participate in our work.

Congregational and Organizational Membership types:

  1. Participating member: Commits to building a team of leaders in your congregation/organization, contributing financially, and participating fully in the work and mission of We Make Indiana.

  2. Supporting member: Commits to support the mission of We Make Indiana with financial support

Participating Member benefits:

  • Having a voice in public life on issues that are important to your community

  • Training and leadership development opportunities: all financially contributing member congregations receive free or reduced registration for most training events

  • Peer and mentor groups for clergy and lay leaders committed to social justice

  • Participation in leadership teams and decision-making

Participating Member responsibilities:

  • Teach, preach, study, and pray to nurture your congregation/ organization’s vocation to “seek the well-being” of the community and the region

  • Form and support a team to lead your congregation/ organization in this work

  • Contribute financially to the work of We Make Indiana
